Workshops for Individuals
Our individual workshops are designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of racism, covering both its personal and systemic dimensions. These highly interactive sessions, typically lasting 2-3 hours, use a mix of educational content, case studies, and group discussions to explore critical topics such as implicit bias, privilege, structural racism, and allyship. Whether you are just beginning your journey in antiracism or are looking to deepen your understanding, these workshops are tailored to meet participants at all levels of knowledge and experience.
Throughout the session, attendees will engage in hands-on activities that foster self-reflection and challenge preconceived notions about race and privilege. With a focus on real-world application, participants will learn how to recognize and dismantle implicit biases in their daily lives, workplaces, and communities. The workshops also highlight how allyship can be a powerful tool in combating racism, offering practical strategies for standing in solidarity with marginalized groups.
By the end of the workshop, participants will not only gain a deeper understanding of the various forms of racism, but they will also leave with an actionable plan tailored to their unique circumstances. This plan will provide concrete steps to foster inclusion and equity in their personal interactions and within their broader communities. Through this empowering experience, participants will become equipped to take on an active role in promoting antiracism and creating lasting change in their spheres of influence.
